Montana Field Guide Android is designed to be useful without an account or network connection.
This foundation build does not include:
- accounts
- ads
- analytics SDKs
- crash analytics SDKs
- Firebase
- location permission
- camera or photo permissions
- contacts permission
- microphone permission
- notification permission
- broad storage permission
- cloud sync
Saved species and recently viewed species are stored locally on the device. They are not transmitted by the app.
The app may later include user-initiated external website links, but this foundation build has no required internet dependency for core species browsing, search, saved species, or comparison.
